Pylclari^® (piflufolastat ¹⁸F)

Pylclari^® (piflufolastat ¹⁸F; [¹⁸F]DCFPyL) is a fluorinated PSMA-targeted PET imaging agent that enables visualization of both bone and soft tissue metastases to determine the presence or absence of recurrent and/or metastatic prostate cancer. A proof-of-concept study showed high levels of Pylclari^® uptake in sites of putative metastatic disease and primary tumors, suggesting the potential for high sensitivity and specificity in detecting prostate cancer.
