Time to celebrate!

With cookies and cake we celebrated the recent publication of the article “Fluorine-18 labelled Ruppert-Prakash reagent ([¹⁸F]Me₃SiCF₃) for the synthesis of ¹⁸F-trifluoromethylated compounds” in Chemical Communications. The article describes the synthesis and application of a new reagent for the introduction of radiolabelled CF₃-groups into PET tracer molecules.

The underlying research of this article has been performed at the Radionuclide Center, our close collaborator from Amsterdam UMC. It was part of a PhD project that has been supported in a public-private partnership by BV Cyclotron VU, together with the Dutch Research Council (NWO). We are proud to be involved as a company in cutting-edge research and facilitate knowledge transfer from research to industry.
