Movie : Moving the cyclotron

Meanwhile the first cyclotron has arrived at its destination, but fortunately we still have the video!

Oliver Proper from Proper Productions took images of this spectacle with his drone.

In the early morning, the crane of Mammoet was directed to the right place, under the guidance of traffic controllers.

First the crane had to be placed safely and stably. The cyclotron then had to be moved horizontally because it had to be exactly under the opened shaft. Then the lifting could begin.

The truck on which the cyclotron was to be transported was ready. Once the transfer papers were signed, the cyclotron was on his way.
